Whether you’re swimming through the singletrack or attacking that county line sprint, USAMade’s new Oval Sharktooth chainrings have a tooth count to match. Their new rings come in GXP and BB30 SRAM direct mount and 110bcd Shimano asymmetric 4-bolt configurations, the latter with inner and outer rings for double road set ups. And they start at just $23…
In development for more than a year, the rings are machined from 6061-T6 alloy and come with a limited lifetime warranty. The Shark Tooth design is combined with wide-narrow teeth chain retention on their direct-mount 1x rings, which they claim offers zero chain drops. The black ano is finished with a Teflon surface treatment for smoother, cleaner operation.
For GXP and BB30 direct mount, they offer 30/32/34 tooth options, all with 0mm offset. Use their 6mm adapter to space it out for long-spindle setups. For 110mm Shimano 4-Bolt they offer 34/36/38 tooth inner and 50/52/53 tooth outer chainrings. They also offer the same tooth counts in a 110bcd standard 5-bolt pattern for non-Shimano cranks.
