For Paul Camp 2017, they invited handmade bicycle builders from the area to submit their idea of the ultimate monstercross bike or mountain bike. Jeremy Sycip went with his favorite material, steel, and crafted a hardtail mountain bike capable of keeping up with the gravel-crushing 700c bikes many of the rest of us were riding. And then bombing past us on the gnarly sections.
