You probably know Phil Keoghan’s name even if you’re not sure why we’re talking about him on a cycling site. He’s been the host of CBS’s The Amazing Race for a whopping 30 seasons. But a couple years ago, he produced Le Ride, a documentary about the 1928 Tour de France, by recreating and riding the original route on original bikes (That’s him on the right, during the ride. Photo by Doug Jenson). It was insane, but it’s that spirit of adventure that made me want to hear his story. This is one of my favorite interviews because Phil’s mindset is so positive, you can’t help being motivated to adopt a can-do attitude and get to work following your dream.
