Park Tool has announced an updated and expanded version of their Big Blue Book of Bicycle Repair, otherwise called the BBB-4. Written by Calvin Jones, the book covers just about any repair you’d want to do to a bike, even including the latest innovations in electronic shifting, internal cable routing, 1x drivetrains, and hydraulic disc brakes.

Park Tool is largely known for their vast array of tools and repair stands, but they have also offered repair books for quite some time. Now on its fourth edition, the BBB-4 was written by Calvin Jones, Director of Education at Park Tool.

This author can vouch for the quality of Park’s educational materials, and I’ll argue that there’s nothing like having a hard copy of a good repair book in your garage. Call me old school, but it’s a great thing to get away from computer screens to get greasy and fix something on your own.
