In this week’s gear roundup, we’re taking a look at some crazy limited edition wheels from SPENGLE, celebratory helmets from Kask, breathable workout tees by Kitsbow, and a derailleur hanger alignment tool from Unior.
SPENGLE reveals their insane wheel Collection
Swiss wheel manufacturer SPENGLE has a lot to show off at Eurobike this year. As you may have noticed, the Collection series of wheels includes some incredible design collaborations with artists from Europe and the US. They used their fail-safe monocoque tri-spoke wheels as the canvas for crazy designs. The series includes Chromeo ($5,900), Lava, Popping Cherry ($3,500), Iridescent ($7,100), and Neon Glitch ($7,300) paint schemes. Some of which take over 40 hours of detailing to finalize and are limited to as little as 1 set. Each pair is 650b and has an internal width of 24mm. They use Centerlock disc mounts and will have the axle width finalized before being delivered. There are a total of 10 sets available.

Kask is celebrating the top 2 for TDF podium
Kask is celebrating their riders, Egan Bernal and Geraint Thomas, winning 1st and 2nd place at the Tour de France this year, Kask released 3 limited edition helmets. Their aero focused Utopia, lightweight Valegro, and their well rounded Protone are all getting makeovers with the yellow jersey color and team INEOS branding. They’re currently on sale to distributors and will hit shelves later this year. Pricing will be coming soon.
Kitsbow launches the do-it-all tee
The latest from Kitsbow is a line of men’s and women’s tees. The entire line is made of Polartec Delta fabric, a knit made with hydrophilic and hydrophobic yarns to blend breathability and moisture management. Each shirt has an active fit, UPF 30 protection, a reflective logo on the arm, and American made quality. The men’s offerings include the $80 Cyclone and Superflow tees each available in black, blue, river, and canyon/cedar colors. The women’s line includes the $80 Hymasa, Hilso, and Glorietta v-neck shirts. Each is available in blue, black, mist and sunset. Women’s shirts range from XS-XL and men’s’ from XS-XXL
Unior announces the Hanger Genie
Unior has a new hanger alignment tool to add to their premium Genie series. The Hanger Genie is compatible with wheel sizes ranging from 20 – 29″+. Its measuring gauge is locked in place with a set knob and it rotates to easily clear the frame while measuring and adjusting. The tool has a max length of 392mm and a min length of 250mm. The $130 Hanger Genie threads into the standard M10 x 1 hanger thread, and weighs in at just over 950g.
