The updated Velo Orange Pass Hunter is aimed at sports tourers and randonneurs, or roadies that just want bigger, fatter tires. And maybe some options should they decide to explore more.

Check that out, and their very sleek Polyvalent step-thru city bike, Flat Pack fork rack, and more below, right after their Remote Otter video submission!

Velo Orange Pass Hunter Rando Bike

The Pass Hunter gets upgraded to 12mm thru axles, flat mount disc brakes, and a tapered head tube. The latter makes it compatible with modern carbon forks, which you can choose as an option. Or, stick with the stock steel fork for plenty of rack, fender and accessory mounts.

Hourglass braze-ons on the seatstays and fork legs give you a ton of extra mounting points.

It’ll fit 650B x 47mm tires with fenders. Colors are Burgundy Red and Light Blue, available Fall 2020.

Velo Orange Polyvalent City Bike

The latest Polyvalent gets all the same modern upgrades like 12mm thru axles, disc brakes but sticks with a straight 1-1/8″ head tube. For a city bike, this one checks all the right boxes…full coverage fender compatibility, fork and rear rack mounts, sleek internal routing for the rear brake, two-pronged kickstand, and more.

The real kicker is the massive tire clearance, letting you fit up to 650B x 2.1″ tires if you give up the fenders. Keep the flaps on and it’ll hold 650B x 48mm or 26″ x 2.3″ tires. That’s a lot of cush for broken pavement.

The frame is designed to carry a load, too, perfect for grocery getting and commuting. The step-thru design makes it easier to mount and dismount when loaded, too. It’ll come in Small, Medium, Large and XL frames, available this fall as both framesets and complete bikes with custom builds.

Velo Orange Touring Disc Brake Hubs

Their touring hub is updated for disc brakes and thru axles (convenient now that their bikes are running thru axles, no?), but you can still swap in quick release end caps, too. There are rim brake versions, too, and the front rim brake hub is QR only.

They’ll come in 32 and 36 hole drillings with Shimano, SRAM XD and Campy freehub body options. Black or silver, available later this fall.

Velo Orange Flat Pack Rack

The Velo Orange Flat Pack Rack is a fork-mounted rack with adjustable legs to fit most any fork that has bolt-on mounting points on the legs. The top bolts to the fork crown, then uses one- or two sets of legs, letting you add more support for heavier loads (up to 17lbs)…or run with one set (aka two legs) for lighter stuff (up to 12lbs).

The “Foot” mount sits flush against the fork’s crown and is offset up to improve tire and fender clearance. Its prong slides into a Daruma-style mounting point on the rack, same as the legs, letting you adjust the overall rack’s position fore, aft, up and down.

Use the included backstop for keeping any bag in place, or use the also-included bag decayer to secure Randonneur Bags. The platform is stainless steel, the legs are aluminum. This one’s the only product shown here that’s actually available now, retail is $175.
