The first time we saw Alchemy was the 2012 NAHBS show, where the headline was their fighter jet-looking Arion aero road bike. They don’t make that model anymore, the Helios has taken over as their flagship model. And so it’s that bike that carries the honors of celebrating their 10th anniversary with an over-the-top custom build, paint and layout.
Select all the options and you’ll get a specially painted frame with paint matched high end parts from SRM, Ceramic Speed and ENVE. The “base” build gets a gorgeous, deeply colored and glossy paint scheme, with individual frame numbers in carbon fiber under the tinted clear coat. It comes with Shimano Dura-Ace Di2 R9150 with hydraulic disc brakes, and it goes up from there.
Starting at the front, you can add a 14-karat gold head badge (+$3,000) to match the downtube logo and other accents.
A custom tinted/painted SRM power meter crankset is an option (+$2,500), which will look just right with the paint-matched CeramicSpeed OSPW derailleur that comes on the bike. A matching CeramicSpeed bottom bracket is part of the package, too. Naturally.
