OK, so there’s only one extra tooth on the new BBinfinite Ceramitec Delrin pulley wheels, but if you’re looking at these products, you’re all about the incremental gains, right? Originally launched in 2016 with 11 teeth per wheel, the new 12-tooth derailleur pulley wheels keep the quiet, chain-friendly Delrin composite construction and free-spinning Ceramitech hybrid ceramic bearings.
The wheels’s Delrin material is a fiber-reinforced composite that’s stiff for improved shifting response, but won’t wear down the chain or add noise like alloy (or ti) wheels might. The bearings are molded into the wheel during manufacturing, too, for a more durable construction. They’re available in Red and Black for Shimano (105 R7000, Utegra 6800 and 8000/8100, and Dura-Ace 9000/9100) derailleurs. They say the extra tooth doesn’t add too much diameter, so these will fit in your stock derailleurs with no cage modification needed.
Retail is $140, but they’re 40% off during Black Friday weekend through Cyber Monday.
