Clark Kent rear pineapple hub shell

Rear Pineapple hub shell. A chicken wire lacing (non-drive only) specific hub. A component as old as the age of anodized everything, not just purple.

what are the center eyelets for?

Zombinate – 8 straight-pull spokes in the center lace with the non-drive side. Only 8 holes in that flange, 16 in the drive side flange.

Yup, those hubs use three or four spoke lengths per wheel, think Clark Kent is right as mentioned above.

There were two types of rear hubs – the one above is the latter one I guess. I found some Info about those hubs here https://www.2rad.nrw/project/clark-kent-naben/
