Photo submitted by Eva Siva of Bratislava, Slovakia who seconded Tyler’s thoughts about riding the new eTap from his first rides “
Do I want it? Only on every bike I own” with her own comment “3 weeks and no going back“! She also played up the importance of matching wheel and lever decals to your headbadge and nails, saying “Color coordination gives you 2Watts, hahah“.

We always love to see your photos and would like to show them to the world here on the Pic Of The Day. Send in your photo with a brief description here.

Get used to it. People are going to be retrofitting 10 year old frames with eTap.

She can just get those things ground of and polish. Or on carbon frame put in a tiny plug. Etap roolz. Way better looking than wires! Enjoy!

Yeah, I would just melt the whole frame down, re form it into tubing, cut the tubes into small pieces, then melt those pieces down, then re cast that into small coins, then use those coins to buy a carbon frame. But I am into problem solving. To each their own.

Chop off those superfluous cable stops…You’re losing at least 5 watts of power.

They do look like Shrek ears without cables running through. Maybe use them to hold flowers like the little pot in a VW Beetle?

I’m not aware of a single frame that wouldn’t have some kind of ‘compromise’ to accommodate a wireless transmission system. She took a nice bike and put cutting edge technology on it. your criticism is unfathomable unless you are simply jealous her wheels are better than yours.

Soon we will have new curmudgeons saying they won’t run any electronic system that doesn’t at least have wires connecting their shifters to derailleurs.
