Photo submitted by Oskar Omarsson, “We are approaching a small town called Dalvík, descending from Böggvisstaðadalur after ascended up over Reykjaheiði from the other side mostly hiking with the bikes on our shoulders. Couple of us in the trip also just launched a website for our newly formed company, MiM short for Made In Mountains. We set out to offer custom private mountainbike tours around Iceland. Please look it up if you are interested, www.madeinmountains.is.”

Oh C’MON BikeRumor!!! Some of these photos are just simply amazing (like the above). When are you gonnna offer these up as wallpaper-size downloads?!! I’d say, if you’re gonna post a pic-of-the-day, you gotta offer it up as a big wallpaper to enjoy on the desktop for that day!

Just look at that scenery! Riding (maybe even migrating) @ Iceland is also on my list. 🙂 However: I do want to bring my own bike.

As for high res images: YES YES! It’s not 1996, most of have 1920×1080 or higher. A 800×450 image just wont cut it anymore. Poor UHD people are looking at thumbnails. 🙂
