“The lift out of Unterbach doesn’t have a bike specific carrier,
it’s a case of grabbing the bike with one hand and placing it on your lap , chainring facing upwards (we quickly discovered chainrings on the thigh are uncomfortable) your other hand is used to hold your backpack, you hope the lift doesn’t stop suddenly as you cannot lower the safety bar!” –whew!
