Based in Freiburg, Germany, Tout Terrain builds bicycles for travel, adventure, and everyday use. They also build unique “Singletrailers”, essentially a suspended child trailer with a single wheel – perfect for tight singletrack (or barrel rolls), with better handling than typical two-wheel trailers.
A few days ago, they announced a new member of their Singletrailer range. Introducing the new Singletrailer II Gravel. The new trailer is designed to bring kids along with you on your off-road rides.
The Singletrailer II Gravel builds on the OG Singletrailer’s unique single-wheel design. This gives it a narrower profile that makes it easier to navigate trails and tighter paths when compared to traditional two-wheeled trailers.
Tout Terrain swapped out the OG Singletrailer’s tire setup for one that handles rougher terrain more comfortably. The new 20″ Continental Double Fighter 1.75″ gravel tire helps the trailer track and remain nimble while dragging it down the trail.
The adjustable rear shock offers between 120–160mm of travel depending on the conditions. So whether you’re on packed gravel or bumpier singletrack, the suspension will keep things under wraps.
On the safety and comfort side, your lil’ one gets a padded five-point harness and a steel roll bar in case things get all topsy-turvy. The ventilated windows and a retractable sun cover keep the kidos comfy. Need to bring some munchies along? The integrated storage for gear or snacks will help with that.

With the addition of the Singletrailer II Gravel, there are now three different options for trailers from Tout Terrain. The Touring model features a slick tire, the Sport uses a 24″ MTB tire with more suspension, and the Gravel finds itself right in the middle.
