Photo submitted by Paul Shepherd, “This picture is in Jeffersonville, VT, on a class IV (unmaintained doubletrack) road. The pond next to the road decided to empty into the road for about 100 yards before the stream turned out of the roadbed again. This is the sort of thing that happens regularly and makes Vermont’s Class IV roads an adventure. Photos are before and after the stream. Date was May 9th when New England got a spring snowstorm courtesy of the polar vortex.”
