Brompton has updated their product line with new colors, as well as a website bike builder to configure your own bike. The site starts out your Brompton at £770, and allows the selections of 4 handlebar types, front and rear luggage, transport bags and 13 colors.

They have added 6 brand new colors, Ivory, Cherry Blossom, Tempest Blue, Berry Crush, Lagoon Blue and Lime Green. The stock colors are black and white, or you can option up to any of the new colors, along with many others for £30. You can even choose different colors between the main frame and “extremities”.

The new colors are now available, and Brompton is hoping they help bring some youthful image to London’s folding bike brand.

This is the perfect bike for the rail commuter, a shame it never took off in the NE Corrider in the States.

i wish Brompton would join the 21st century and update its frames with standard hub spacings and disc brakes!

@leonard. Unfortunately that would require a complete redesign of the bike along with compromising the fold in both simplicity and size. I’m perfectly fine with mine working as flawlessly as it does. And discs aren’t really needed on that size wheel. With the updated levers, the good ol’ rim brakes work remarkably well. They started with a proven design that doesn’t need to play catch up to anything IMO.
