Canyon’s factory racing CLLCTV brings Troy Lee Designs to the EWS-proven speed of their top enduro race bike with a limited edition Canyon Strive CFR TLD. Look fast, go fast is the mantra. And now, just like on their special edition team DH bikes, the same TLD treatment come to enduro mountain bikes, and with a killer race-ready build that begs to go faster…
Canyon Strive CFR TLD ltd. enduro bike
Just like the TLD-editions of Canyon’s top Sender CFR carbon DH bike, the new Strive CFR TLD limited edition gets the same gravity team Troy Lee Designs graphics. Jack Moir and the CLLCTV debuted the TLD Strive at the start of this year’s Enduro World Series, but now you can get one too.
Tech details
The bike itself is the same top-tier carbon, Shapeshifter-equipped Strive CFR that just debuted in April (and is still waiting on USA availability until mid-October in its standard edition)
That means the 29″ wheels now get longer 160mm rear wheel & 170mm fork travel, but the same racy low stack even with longer travel. Its geometry gets more aggressive and progressive with 40mm longer reach, slacker 63° head angle, super steep 76.5/78° seattube, and improved stability at speed thanks to a longer wheelbase with the same short 435mm chainstays.
The new Strive CFR carries over the dual-mode ShapeShifter in v2.0 to go from pedal up to shred down at the touch of a button. It shifts angles by 1.5°, BB height by 15mm, and reduces rear wheel travel to 140mm… but also tweaks shock kinematics to make Shred mode more plush with less pedal kickback. Pedal mode on the other hand gets much more anti-squat for increased pedaling efficiency in ITS first half of travel, before opening up midway through to create a playful ride still great for rolling trails & less gnarly descending.
