For 2021, Canyon will offer alloy models of its popular downhill gravity machines; the Torque and Sender.

The Torque, built to the same “Category 5” standards as all Canyon DH bikes, and taking suspension cues from the Sender, the Torque is a gravity machine with a playful side. Built around a 27.5″ wheels, and spec’d with 2.4″ Maxxis Minion DHR tires – this bike has a bit of everything.

The alloy versions geometry is the same super slack 65 deg headtube as the Torque CF. The nibble ride that the Torque is known for is nearly the same but in a durable alloy frame with updated colorways and components.

In addition to all-new colors, all Torque models now come decked out with a burlier Fox 38 or RockShox Zeb forks. The Torque is more than a gravity machine though, and the line comes equipped with wide-range Shimano or SRAM Eagle drivetrains for all your enduro needs.

Prices range from $2,599 (Torque 6) to $5,399 (Torque 7)

In addition to the two Torque models Canyons dual crown, 200mm shred machine – the Sender now comes in an alloy frame. The Sender 6 looks to be an excellent option for riders looking for an affordable Down Hill race bike that can take a few bad line choices. The Sender 6 is built on the same chassis design that’s carried Troy Brosnan to the World Cup podium.

The Sender is more than a Down Hill race bike, though you can turn this ride into a park bike with the flip of a chip. A rider can adjust the geometry and shorten the chainstay with no problems, right in the parking lot.

The 2021 Sender 6 ($3,399) is available in Rampant Purple and now rocks full Marzocchi suspension (58 fork and coil-sprung Bomber CR rear shock).

Both the Torque and Sender 6 are now available on canyon.com for purchase.
