British Columbia is a special place. From the area’s history, to the magical forests, breathtaking water ways, and of course the incredible riding, anyone who’s been, can’t wait to get back. Not only did they decide to open their Canadian office there, but they’ve also put together two limited edition bikes to honor their surroundings with the Commencal BC Edition.
Draped in a matte black, khaki green, the special paint scheme also includes ‘Haida’ orange accents in color named for the local Haida people native to Northern British Columbia.
Sitting towards the top of the range in terms of price, the Meta AM V4.2 BC edition is a 160mm travel bike with 650b x 2.35″ wheels and tires, a SRAM GX Eagle 1×12 drivetrain, a Rock Shox Super Deluxe RCT shock and Lyrik RC 170mm fork, all with a price tag of $3,799.
The Furious gets a similar build kit, only geared towards DH, park, and the burly lines BC is known for. Built with a SRAM GX DH 7 speed drivetrain, Rock Shox Boxxer Team fork and Super Deluxe R Coil rear shock, and 650b x 2.35″ wheels and tires, the DH bike has the same retail price of $3,799.
Pricing and availability
Both bikes are available as a pre-order for $3,799 with the Meta AM expected in about two weeks, and the Furious DH about two months out. Check out the site for more details.
