Cowbell “Mini-Stage†Race… enjoy both days of racing and save a little dough…. Here’s your chance to show us what you’re really made of. King and Queen of the Mountain will each be awarded the Specialized Red Dotted Helmet after besting one climb on the road and 6 to 8 climbs on the first lap on the course of the Marathon Race. Check out the Specialized helmet.
All racers that race the marathon will receive an after race meal from Toast Café. After a hard day’s racing, or supporting, or cheering, a yummy lunch will hit the spot. We’re teaming up with TOAST of Davidson to provide boxed lunches on Saturday and Sunday for just $8 each (Marathon racers will receive one ticket as part of the race entry fee). The other close-by hotel, The Days Inn, (Exit 28 in nearby Cornelius), is once again a Host Hotel for Cowbell Challenge. The room rate is $54.95 per night, bikes are allowed in room. Continental breakfast each morning, and late checkout. Reservations must be made by Friday, June 12, to receive the Cowbell Challenge rate. You must call the hotel directly at 704-892-9120 (sorry the Cowbell rate is not available with online reservations).
If you happen to be riding around the Davidson area, stop in to see Mark at The Cycle Path, he has good deal for in store registration discount and discount coupon comes with it too. While in the store take a look at the King and Queen of the Mtn awards, by Specialized. Maybe if you are lucky while spending sometime in The Cycle Path see if you might be able to get out of Mark the layout of the Cowbell course at Fisher Farms.
