CST Tires has just released the Jack Rabbit, their first UST tubeless mountain bike tire.
Initially only available in a 26×2.0 size, it’s a closely spaced small knob XC oriented tire. The knobs are ramped to improve rolling resistance. Casing has their EPS protection, which is a rubberized poly fabric to reinforce the sidewalls and prevent punctures. The tread is a single durometer rubber.
It’s UST certified, and there’s a 26×2.1 tube-type size also available. Word is they might be working on a 2.25 width, but there’ll almost certainly be a 29er size soon.
Pricing is TBD, and they’re shipping to distributors now.
