You can’t go for a mountain bike ride anywhere near where I live without crossing paths with at least one person wearing Curious Creatures on the trail. The Bozeman, Montana brand has quickly gained popularity from its humble beginnings just two years ago, with technical, comfortable, and stylish apparel. The brand’s product line is growing with its popularity, with more options introduced each season, including some fresh, new items just in time for fall.
According to Cursious Creatures’ founder Natasha Woodworth, “These pieces are designed to flow seamlessly across a range of sports. I know my community rarely does just one sport in the mountains – so why not build a closet that works for everything you can throw at it.” Let’s check out what’s new.
Women’s Ramble Scramble Pant

The Ramble Scramble Pant joins the women’s lineup as the full-length version of the popular Ramble Scramble shorts and a burlier, mid-weight alternative to the existing Sun Dog Pant. These pants are made from the same 4-way stretch mid-weight 240 gsm polyester as the shorts of the same name, but with a 30-inch inseam for full leg coverage.
They have a relaxed fit with a high-rise, yoga-style waistband and a drawcord to cinch them up if needed. They have a bike-oriented cut with articulated knees and elastic cuffs at the ankle to keep them tidy for pedaling — or hiking, or climbing, or whatever. Two drop-in hand pockets and rear pockets give them off-the-bike appeal, while a zippered thigh pocket keeps your phone or other valuables secure on the bike.
The Ramble Scramble Pant comes in five sizes, XS – XL, and two colors, Chocolate Fondant and Ponderosa Pine. They retail for $149, just $10 more than the shorts.
Hungry Horse Jacket

The new Hungry Horse Jacket is more of a lifestyle piece for everyday wear, trips to the trailhead, camping, or whatever you choose. Curious Creatures says it is, “inspired by everything people love about fleece — warmth, softness, and comfort — this heavy shacket hybrid brings a workwear-inspired silhouette to both trailhead and everyday life.” Indeed, this shacket (shirt/jacket) has a rugged yet cozy mountain style that looks just about perfect to wear on your way to and from chilly fall rides.
Curious Creatures makes the Hungry Horse Jacket for both men and women. It’s made from a “thick fleecy warm fabric” that’s a 360 gsm blend of 75% polyester and 25% acrylic. It has a purposefully oversized fit, with a slightly dropped tail and a glove-friendly snap closure. The Hungry Horse has loads of pockets, including one chest pocket, two open hand pockets, two with snaps, plus an internal drop pocket for your phone.
The Hungry Horse Jacket comes in sizes XS to XL. The men’s version comes in Carbon Plaid or Glazed Ginger Chambray. The women’s jacket comes in the same Glazed Ginger Chambray or Key Largo Plaid. Both retail for $189.
Daymaker Hoody
Curious Creatures tells us that another piece is coming later this year. “The Daymaker Hoody is a mid-layer built from soft yet rugged fabric with a weather-resistant face. It balances protection, breathability, and comfort, combining the grit of a softshell with the ease of a sweatshirt, complete with a helmet-compatible hood.”

Fair Trade Certified
On top of the new apparel, we’re told that all of the new pieces are being made at a Fair Trade Certified factory in Southeast Asia. The move to this factory is part of Curious Creatures’ commitment and “dedication to not just high-quality gear, but also fair conditions for workers and reduced environmental impact.”
“Working with this new Fair Trade certified factory is incredibly meaningful because it reflects what matters most to us,” says Woodworth. “This factory showcases a real commitment to sustainability, worker well-being, environmental responsibility, and quality at every step. It’s about creating clothing that riders can feel proud to wear, knowing it was made with care for both people and planet.”
