Offering a complete bikepacking bag setup, including top tube bag, saddle bag, frame bag and bar bag, all weighing in at a combined 705g (claimed). Impressive, especially since they look to be full sized and full featured…

The claimed weight for this 2.8 litre Cyclite Frame Bag is just 94g. That’s the version without reinforcement. There is a heavier version that weighs a claimed 148g. It’s not clear from the Cyclite website exactly what that reinforcement is, but it does tell us that all their bikepacking bags are Our bags are high-frequency welded and are made of high-quality, super-strong yet lightweight fabric that has been coated on both sides to ensure maximum robustness and clean-ability.

Dimensions of the Cyclite Handlebar Roll Bag (at rear) are 33-55cm x 17 cm (W x D). This one will set you back €119,90.

Last but not least, there’s the Handlebar Roll Bag (the big one that sits in line with the drops on the above photo). This is a 12.6 Litre bag that offers a good counterweight to the Cyclite Saddle Bag. It weighs a claimed 198g, with a four-point attachment for maximum stability, optional belt compression for a better fit between the drop bars, elastic belt system for quick attachment of clothing, a reflective exterior, and it can be combined with the Cyclite Handlebar Aero Bag…

The Cyclite Handlebar Aero Bag has multiple positions on the top for velcro straps to mount to a bar with aero extension

This is a much smaller handlebar bag that complements the Handlebar Roll Bag, sitting just in front of it. Alternatively, it can be mounted onto aero bar extensions. This one has a capacity of 4.9 Litres, weighs a claimed 139g (non-reinforced) or 208g (reinforced) and will set you back €139.90.

The Cyclite Handlebar Aero Bag has the following dimensions: 23cm x 16cm x 18 cm (L x H x W)

Dual zippers let you open or close it from either side. It’s reversed from how you’d normally see zips placed, but it lets you get into the bag with whichever hand is better in the moment. And, they say you only need to zip it around about halfway to be able to easily reach in and grab something.

The Cyclite Touring Backpack is composed of an ultralight fabric with extremely high tear resistance due to UHMPE reinforcement threads and additional robustness due to laminated TPU

Cyclite also have a line of backpacks, fully featured, with tons of internal storage and organization, including a rain cover tucked into a bottom compartment. We don’t have a claimed weight for you, but we did pick one up; it weighs next to nothing. The touring backpack pictured above has a 23 Litre capacity, separation for the hydration bladder and four elastic, large-volume outer pockets that can be accessed while riding. Pick one up for €199.90 in Spring 2022.

The Cyclite Race Pack has a 7 Litre capacity. It seems to combine the vest-style design of trail running vests, with the pockets and straps across the chest, with the capacity of a more traditional backpack. It has well-padded should straps with ventilation holes in the pad material to keep them breathable. They’ve also put proper phone-sized pockets up front, something we really like having on bigger rides. Elastic bumpers in the hip belt are said to allow for a snug fit without feeling constricted. Pick one of these up for €99.90 from Spring 2022.

So for the full Cyclite set on my roadbike I would pay EUR 520,- plus shipping? And it’s Made in China (Shenzen) like all others. But I can save 500g compared to others like Ortlieb, Revelate or Topeak? Maybe I slim down my waist first and save the same amount of weight… and a lot of money.
