Endura is certainly better known for their quality outer wear, but if you dive into their catalog you’ll find a huge range of products. From suitcases to sunglasses, Endura does a little of everything in an effort to offer quality products that are also affordable. Endura already has a number of sunglasses in the portfolio, but the new Char and Snapper II provide even more options while the popular Mullet gets a few new color options…

Completely new to the line up are the Char and Snapper II. Continuing Endura’s trend of naming the glasses after different fish, the Char include a photochromic lens that changes based on light conditions. It also includes a clear lens with an anti-fog finish and super-Hydrophobic coating which should be perfect for not so perfect weather. Compare that to the Snapper II which are more of lifestyle shades, but  still provide full UV protection and rubber touch points so they stay on your face. If you’re a fan of their original Mullets, there are now three new colors that should help match your kit. All three include a hard case and soft bag that doubles as a lens wipe and are available now.

I see a blatant Oakley ripoff over there…

Like Luigi said, a pretty sad, blatant, and even offensive Oakley ripoff.

They’re re-branded open mold pairs. The green “Mullet” was previously offered as the Lunettes AZR Shape, Ekoi Monstro, Sypder Tank…and likely even more versions out there. I’m sure the “Snapper II” has been re-branded just as much, if not more.

I won’t put this against BikeRumor because we can’t expect them to know everything, but it’s a disgusting practice in this industry. Happens with helmets, too. Look at Endura trying to pass these subpar, old designs for $67-85. Getting press and everything. Really hollows out the legitimacy of the brand.

Odds are, the sample people who despise Oakley/Smith/RP are the same ones fooling themselves thinking they spent good money on these.
