Arriving just in time for the 2016 Frostbike show is the Foundry Cycles Flyover cyclocross bike, the newest member in their range of performance titanium bicycles. Inspired by years of racing cyclocross combined a desire to extract more performance from the bike, the new Flyover builds on their favorite aspects of the Overland and Valmont models. Foundry adds features to the Flyover to make it the race cyclocross bike that Brand Manager Todd Schmidt was always looking for.
A threaded bottom bracket with 65mm of drop helps to perfectly balance pedaling clearance and handling. Tires measuring 700c x 41mm will fit front and rear.
The Flyover features a lightened 44mm headtube and rear flat mount brake…
…both of which help to keep the overall frame weight down.
Available as a frameset or complete bike, the Flyover gets custom double and triple butted 3Al/2.5V titanium tubing.
The Whisky No. 9 CX carbon fork (with fender mounts), DT RWS front and rear axles, Cane Creek headset and seat collar accompany it whether purchased as a frameset or complete bike.
The complete bike comes with a SRAM Force 1 drivetrain with HRD hydraulic disc brakes, DT Swiss R23 wheels, Zipp Service Course SL cockpit and Clement MXP 700 x 33mm tires.
If a mechanical drivetrain isn’t your thing, the Foundry Cycles Flyover is Di2 compatible.
The Flyover is available in six sizes, beginning at XXS (507.5mm top tube), ending at XL (590mm top tube).
Frameset is priced at $US 2,595.00, complete bike at $US 4,695.00. Bikes and frames are expected to be available in June 2016.
