The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission has announced that Giant is recalling 2013 XtC Advanced Sl 29er 0 and 1 models as well as Contact SLR 27.2mm carbon fiber seatposts. There have been five reports of the seatposts breaking, although no injuries have been reported. This specific recall has not yet been posted on Giant’s site, but when it is, recall notices can be found here. Contact your local dealer for a replacement.
