More fun goodies from Chico, California’s Paul Components. When you sit and chat with like-minded people, good ideas are bound to spring forth. Like discovering a clever adaptation for a brake caliper part to be used as a stem cap. That’s right, introducing the new Klamper Stem Top Cap,
When a few of the Paul Crüe were taking a second to contemplate the world’s problems, they noticed a Klamper pad adjuster sitting in a box for the steerer-clamp part of the Boxcar Stem. It takes the mind of a bike nerd to take that pad adjuster put it on the stem clamp and think “Hey, this looks cool”.
I’m not sayin’ it doesn’t look cool, I think the new Klamper Stem Top cap completes the aesthetic of the Box Car Stem like it wasn’t an afterthought. I mean, really, nice job team!
Here’s to the bike nerds!
Obsessively Engineered
The new stem top cap isn’t “actually” a Klamper pad adjuster. It is a precisely machined stem cap that looks like a Klamper pad adjuster. It will fit on any stem/spacer application.
And like it’s always done over at Paul Components, it is machined to tolerances that are “way beyond what a top cap needs”. It’s just what they do over there. It’s like their stuff is going to the moon, or somethin’. I like it.
Travis said that “We machined Have A Nice Ride on the there because we really want you to have a nice ride”. Nice people over there at Paul Comp.
