The new Kali Saha is a half shell urban commute style bicycle helmet that wraps your head in warm, green fuzzies.
The shell is made from corn-based polylactide with a water-based coating to give it a range of fun colors. Underneath, the core is composed of 100% recycled expanded polystyrene (EPS) foam, and the straps are made of 100% natural, non-bleached cotton and flax fabrics. In other words, its made of mostly renewable and/or recycled/recyclable and petrochemical-free materials.
And it’s got all the safety features you’d expect from a lid like this…
All that environmental stewardship doesn’t mean it skimps on safety. There’s washable anti-microbial padding around the forehead and up top, and a dial retention mech in the rear. It meets EN and CPSC safety standards.
Retail is just $44.
