Originally the colors of the Rastafarian movement, red, yellow, and green have significant meaning for many. But somewhere along the way, the colors have also become a popular motif for bicycle designs. Do a quick image search and you’ll find countless ‘Rasta’ themed bikes including old school originals from the likes of Salsa, Bontrager, Marin, and more. Whatever the inspiration, the trend is continuing with the latest limited edition from Intense Cycles.

Simply called the Tracer Rasta, this limited edition bike will be limited to just 50 individually numbered examples.

Using the same 160/165mm front and rear travel carbon SL frame as the standard Tracer, the Tracer Rasta gets a custom paint job plus a full color matched accessory kit to complete the look. That includes red, yellow, and green decals on each Intense Recon Trail 27.5″ carbon rim, custom anodized hardware, matching Fox graphics, Fabric saddle, and more.

The build is closes to their Tracer Elite build, and so is the price – $7,999. But limited to just 50 bikes, this one will be cashed before you know it.

Ah rasta colors.

“Brah, you know what’s missing from our lineup… Rasta brah…”. Ain’t nothing like true, finger on the pulse, market research..

“Yeah, nah, it’s cool to hang a $7900 price tag on it, no one cares about what it means…”

Might want to limit it to… err, the only in the photo only.

This would have been cool…. 20 years ago in 1997.

To me, Intense will always be those red painted aluminum bikes we lusted after, and everyone wanted. Now they’re just generic Asian carbon bikes that look like everyone else and are lost in a sea.

Might be hard to ride this while wearing rollerblades and JNCO jeans
