INTERBIKE 2009 – Pashley had its usual collection of high class English style represented, and on center stage was this level example of craftmanship: The Clubman prototype 3-speed fixie.
A gentleman is not to be bothered with things like brakes, or toe clips for that matter, and as such the Clubman delivers only the finest with lugged Reynolds 531 steel tubing, Sturmey Archer 3-speed internally geared hub and new bar-end shifters and other refinements.
Hit ‘more’ to class up a bit there, hipster…
Supertype Miche cranks, and check out the gear cable pulley just behind the crankset.  Very nice.  Now, if there were only no such thing as dirt…
The S3X hub mates to some forward facing horizontal dropouts.
The Clubman has the latest in technology, like these new Sturmey Archer 3-speed bar end shifters…
…and this Brooks saddle with Titanium rails.  Note the Pashley name stamped into the top of the seat stay cap.
Finishing off the elegance are these chromed wingnut axle bolts.  MSRP for the bike will be $1,895 and it should be available in Spring 2010.
