Tenerife-based bike brand Jerónimo Cycles adds a 32″ titanium hardtail to its lineup, dubbed the Lorenzo Ti. For anyone following along closely in the 32″ wheel development news, this looks a lot like the Nordest Gimonde Ti that we wrote about just two months ago. That’s no surprise. Nordest is the ‘generally more affordable’ brand of bike designer Pedro Jerónimo, while Jerónimo Cycles is his more premium label. But while the frame design and specs are almost spot on between the Gimonde and this new Lorenzo, this new bike promises more refined bike builds…

OK, so if this really is an upgraded version of Nordest Gimonde Ti adventure-ready hardtail, what all is new?
It looks to us like it all boils down to traditional internal cable routing. Don’t worry, nothing going through your headset on this classic titanium hardtail. While the Gimonde gets fully external routing under the toptube, this new Lorenzo 32er put cable ports on the downtube for cleaner cable routing. It’s still mechanical shift and mechanical dropper compatible. But it you run any wireless kit on the bike, opt for some frame bags, or even simply have to shoulder the bike at some point… the Jerónimo Lorenzo Ti will offer a sleeker look.
The result, this frame costs just 100€ extra. Not bad for a more integrated setup. And it you prefer more accessible cables, it’s cool that the Gimonde also exists.
How would you build it up?
Jerónimo calls the Lorenzo Ti hardtail a 32″ downcountry bike. What that means is it’s a trail-ready hardtail when paired with a short-travel suspension fork, or a backcountry bikepacking rig with a rigid fork. Jerónimo only sells the new 32″ titanium frame on its own, so even picking a fork is completely up to you. In fact, if you want this carbon fork they’re showing with it, you have to head over to Nordest to get it. It’s called the Kutxo Carbon fork, and is essentially just a 120mm travel-corrected 29er fork that works well with 32×2.4″ tires, too.
The Jerónimo Lorenzo Ti only comes in two stock sizes (M/L or L), “best fit” for riders 1.78m (5’10”) and taller. But custom-developed geometry is also available for just 300€ extra. Well-thought-out geo is one of Pedro Jerónimo’s real specialties. So anyone outside of that size range looking to get an affordable titanium 32er will certainly benefit here – no matter if you lean more towards dropbar gravel or flat bar trail riding.

The new 32″ Lorenzo Ti downcountry adventure hardtail frame is available to order now. As each frame is built to order, delivery time is approximately 12 weeks after you order. Standard M/L & L sizes sell for 2000€, including delivery within the EU. Individual fully custom geometry increases that to 2300€ with the same 12-week delivery estimate.
Then, it’s up to you for a custom 32″ bike build.
