Located in Boise, Idaho, the computer mount gurus (and chips & salsa connoisseurs) at K-EDGE have been getting flooded with requests lately. The requests are coming in from customer service emails and social media comments. All of the comments were asking for one thing… they all wanted the same mount “that they saw on the S-Works Epic Models”.

Not one to disappoint their fans, K-EDGE got to work…

Introducing the new Epic 9 Computer Mount. Previously, this mount was only available as an included accessory when you bought the Specialized S-Works Epic 9 models, which were priced at $15,249.99. Now, it’s available directly through K-EDGE or through their retail partners.

And the best part? This means you don’t have to buy the S-Works 9 just to get one. Instead, you can get it directly from K-EDGE for $15,195 less – or just $54.99. Riders who own the Epic 9 Pro, Expert, or Comp models can now add the same mount that came standard on the top-tier S-Works build, but pocket the extra coin.

Compatibility?

On the compatibility side, the mount is designed specifically for the 2027 Epic 9 and works with a select range of Roval cockpit options. For example, it works with the Roval Control II cockpit, Roval Riser Control cockpit, and Roval Alloy stems. So if you end up adding one of those cockpits to another bike, this should work in that case as well.

The key design detail is a downward-shaped tab on the backside, which gives it a precise fit for these specific setups. You’re going to probably need to double-check your cockpit configuration before purchasing. Remember, this IS NOT a universal computer mount.

For current Epic 9 owners outside the S-Works tier, this is a practical way to add a feature that was previously out of reach without stepping up to the top-level build.

it is so dumb and wasteful that specialized couldn’t make the top of the stem flat. That was a design choice purely for ascetics. It couldn’t have saved any meaningful weight or provided a unique or competitive edge to the rider. Shame on them, as if they’d care.
