Klunkerz, a movie about the creation and history of mountain biking, won “Best Cycling Film” at the Endurance Sports Awards in California.

The awards, hosted by Competitor Magazine, honored the movie for its depiction and history of those who took the pre-war balloon tire bikes and modded, hacked and altered them to ride off road.

With actual footage from the ’60’s and ’70’s and interviews with folks like Joe Breeze, Gary Fisher, Charlie Kelly, Tom Ritchey and more, it is (according to this review) a pretty entertaining view.

Hey Bike Rumor,

Thanks for the push down the trail. KLUNKERZ has been a 4+ year odyssey for me, and I’m very honored that the pioneers of the sport allowed me to tell their story. I hope to see you out on the trails.

Ride on,
