Among the other new bikes and gear debuted at the Tour of Flanders, Team Lampre-Merida was spotted on a new aero road bike rolling on a new mid depth wheelset from Fulcrum. Merida’s new aero bike, the Reacto Evo, honestly looks more like a tt bike than the current crop of aero road bikes – almost Trek Speed concept like. Underneath the bike look to be a new 35mm aero wheel from Fulcrum, labeled the Racing Speed XLR 35. Currently, the range of Fulcrum’s Racing speed line has included low profile, 50, and 80mm depths, so it makes sense that a 35mm would be added to the group. Like the rest of the line, we’re assuming the 35 will be offered in clincher and tubular models when it is released.
