Limar has introduced two new aero helmets designed for the go fast crowd.  The Crono, above, retails for $169.99 and is the shorter of the two.  The other, the Speed Demon (pictured after the break) has a longer tail, but more vents and retails for $199.99.
Both use Limar’s in-mould production process, which keeps them light while maintaining impact resistance strength.  The Crono weighs in at 330g, and the Speed Demon at 345g…not bad for full aero headgear.  Both helmets have the Super System 2 micro adjustment wheel at the back for quick, easy snugging.  “Cool Comfort” pads inside are anti-allergenic and absorbent, and the front vents have mesh netting to keep those love bugs out.
Both are UCI-approved (does that mean they meet 3:1 ratios?) and come in three different colors.  The “carbon” above is a finish…not real carbon fiber. Sorry.
Hit ‘more’ for a pic of the Speed Demon and sizing specs…
The Cronos comes in Carbon, White or Silver and fits head diameters of 53 to 59 cm (~ 20-24 inches).
The Speed Demon has 15 air vents and has flexible ear coverage to reduce noise and wind resistance.  It fits slightly larger heads, from 54 to 61 cm (~ 21-25 inches).
