My college cycling team had a few rules, 1. look good, 2. go fast, and 3. be safe. SAKO7 takes the most important rule seriously with a philosophy centered around being stylish while riding. They offer a range of colors and patterns that pair up with virtually any bike, and an appeal that stretches beyond paved roads for both men and women.

SAKO7 has focused on being modern yet fashionable with a mix of colorful patterns, and stripes for their apparel. The 6″ Sako7socks are created with DeFeet and offer a durable thread count, and breathable fabric on top of the foot. Also, the yarn used claims to hold the color so well that they’ll look as good as new a year later.  In addition to their eye-catching socks, there are equally elaborate kits tailored with racing in mind. They get a light weight and aero, four-way stretch fabric, and UV protection for warm summer rides, plus they’re unisex for men and women. The bibs get a triple density Italian made chamois for supportive cushion, a radio/electronics pocket, and legs that are anatomically shaped.

It’s one thing to have matching apparel, it’s another thing to wear it properly. For SAKO7 founder Sean Sakinofsky, the ideal cuff length is just bellow the calf muscle, just enough height to accent the rest of the outfit. To help further pair the bike and apparel they offer striped bidons (bottles). They’re biodegradable, hold 500 ml, and come in both yellow and blue options. Pricing: Socks $21 – Jersey $150 – Bibshorts $200 – Bottles $19.

Looks like something you would wear at burning man. Add a feather boa and unicorn horn, zip the jersey down over half way and a pair of goggles for sand storms and a lady’s beach cruiser. You’d be rock’n it sideways… aaah ya.

Are tattoos a requirement to be a cycling/bike kit model?
