This collaboration between two of the companies that sponsor John Prolly, which he helped design, was first seen at Interbike a few months ago. Yesterday, he posted some photos of his newly built up ride on his blog, Prolly Is Not Probably. Production models, including complete builds, are expected soon. Is that thing actually rideable? It must have a head-tube angle of around 80 deg and very little off-set. Off-road tyres, yes, but off-road geometry…?

It’s not at all designed for off-road proficiency, it’s a plus-sized BMX bike. The kids love this stuff. I think the larger tires are more for sticking landings at sketchy angles and protecting he rims, than they are for off-road grip. Though it’s definitely not my thing from a functional angle, I do think Mishka did a great job with the aesthetics. Custom powder-coated rims, or at least sticker-free ones, would have been nice.
