Thus far in 2021, MMR has rolled out a new fleet of bikes including mountain and road options that primarily are built for racers at a considerable clip.
The Spanish bike company began dropping new builds in the fall with a line of Kenta XC mountain bikes in November. The brand quickly followed with the all-new Adrenaline Aero road bike that it said brings more stability and speed compared to previous builds.
To round out the year, MMR has released another new offering that presents something entirely new for the brand: a full-carbon, full-suspension E-MTB.
The MMR X-Bolt features 29-inch wheels and a fourth-generation Bosch drive system with a 625-watt battery to help riders plow over chunky terrain with ease.
In line with other models and the brand’s race-driven ideology, the bike is built to be fast and aggressive, even with the added weight of a battery and motor.
MMR’s X-Bolt comes in three builds, including the X-Bolt 00, 10, and 30. Each comes in a 120 or 140-millimeter option ranging in price from about MSRP $5,415 to $7,445.
Both the 00, 10 builds feature the Fox Factory 34 or 36 fork and the Fox Float DPS or X Factory e-bike forks and shocks, depending on how much travel buyers select. They both also come with the Shimano XT drivetrain and RaceFace Ride Cockpit. The 00 comes equipped with the FSA KFX E-bike crankset and DT-Swiss H-1900 wheels. The 10 comes with the FSA Forged E-bike crankset and XCR 9800 wheels.
The X-Bolt 30 features the RockShox 35 Silver E-bike fork and the RockShox Deluxe Select R shock in either 120 or 140 millimeter builds. The 30 also comes with the RaceFace Ride Cockpit, FSA Forged E-bike Crankset, and XCR 9800 wheels. Instead of the Shimano XT groups, it comes with the Shimano Deore system.
All the builds come with dropper posts. The X-Bolt 00 comes with a Fox Transfer Factory 125 in 30.9mm. The 10 and 30 come with a RaceFace Aeffect R dropper.
