California’s lifestyle-inspired Momentum Bikes has announced the latest iteration of its popular Vida E+ eBike. The Vida E+ aims to offer riders superior comfort and carefree riding.

“The new Vida E+ is all about making cycling more accessible and enjoyable,” said An Le, Global Marketing Director of Giant Group, which includes Giant, Liv, Momentum, and CADEX brands. “With its upgraded motor, new throttle functionality, enhanced safety features, comfortable geometry, and easy step-through frame, the Vida E+ empowers riders to rediscover the joy of cycling and explore their world with confidence and control.”
What’s New for the Vida E+?
The Vida E+ now sports an efficient 500W SyncDrive Move S Motor with a claimed 60Nm of torque. This new motor offers comfortable, everyday speeds that feel natural and effortless. The motor initially engages with just 4Nm of pedal force and 10 degrees of movement. This equates to a smoother start for the rider. In the pedal assist mode, the SyncDrive Move S delivers consistent, intuitive support. Riders can reach speeds of 28MPH with ease.

By analyzing the bike’s torque, speed, and cadence sensors, the SyncDrive Move S algorithm delivers responsive, real-time support. The sensors relay the rider’s effort and pedaling style, and combine it with the bike’s speed to deliver adaptive power on the fly.

Riders can use the RideControl app to seamlessly customize their ride preferences.

New Throttle
The Vida E+ offers an optional throttle assist for speeds up to 20mph. Pair this with the Energy 700 battery, and the rider could get up to 55 miles of range on pedal assist, and 43 miles using just the throttle. There are also three assist levels to dial in the rider’s riding style/comfort.
Bring Stuff Too
The Vida E+ is made to handle a total weight of 300lbs, including the bike, rider, and cargo. The front rack can support up to 33 pounds, and the rear can accommodate 55 pounds.

There is a wide range of accessories available for the Vida E+, like front and rear racks, optional throttle, bike lights, fenders, rear view mirror, pannier bags, cargo straps, and more.
Certification & Maintenence
The new Vida E+ is UL-2849 certified, which reduces the risk of electronic malfunctions, fire hazards, and electric shocks. This means a safe and secure experience, whether charging, storing, or riding the bike.
Momentum Bikes uses Giant Bicycles’ extensive dealer network that spans the US. This also means that the Momentum riders can access professional service and support at nationwide brick-and-mortar locations.
