All of the aero and comfort features in the world won’t help you ride like Vittorio Brumotti. Truthfully though, nothing will. We can’t see many riders mountain or road pulling off some of these moves. Don’t look down…

Credits after the jump.

From GCN:

Vittorio Brumotti does it again! Road Bike Freestyle 2 shows the Italian trials superstar taking it up a notch on a road bike.

Martyn Ashon’s Road Bike Party inspired Brumotti to change his trials riding to using a road bike and take it to a whole new level, showing off his incredible riding skills. From the Tinkoff Saxo team bus, to Italian quarries via the Californian sunshine, Road Bike Freestyle 2 showcases Vittorio’s incredible riding around the world

Vittorio rides a Montante bike with FSA components, Vision wheels and Crank Brothers pedals. We’re grateful to Expo Milan 2015 and Livigno for help with locations and the rest of Brumotti’s sponsors, EICMA, Tinkoff Saxo, Multipower, Lotto, Hot Wheels, Sportful, SBS, Carrera, Limar, Incomedia and City Time for their support.

It must be tough riding a bike with balls of steel.

If you don’t ride trials you should. More riders should learn how to ratchet their bike, it is a good skill to have.

I wonder if the frame and wheels are covered under warranty 🙂

He did an interview for an italian site where he said that all the components are after shelf except the rear hub reinforced to withstand the stresses. He never had any brake apart the carbon frame during the practice for the back-flip. He took the wrong measures and throwing the bike it landed right on the ramp.

May the big G translator gives you a little help.

Love to know what he’s using for wheel/tire setup. Tubeless, tubes, solid rubber?

I’m trying to figure out the brakes. They look like Campy skeletons, but the cables appear to be externally routed

Incredible, but when I think of Martyn Ashton I gave a much harder time enjoying it… Be careful out there!

Nice video.

I’ve been taking a good hard look at the frame. Based on the geometry of the front triangle and the rather short seat tube, my best guess is Brumotti’s riding a Montante Mediterraneo with modified Tinkoff-Saxo livery.

Amazing, but I’d rather watch what he could do on a proper trials bike. This is like watching a master carpenter pound nails with a screwdriver.
