Wonder Woman Bike painted in house by Naomi, who, along with the customer, has a real thing for the Amazonian super hero.
Fork matches the super hero’s boots, and the frame is a mix of Mylar chrome strips with regular and metallic paint, plus hand cut reflective vinyl star decals, all protected by a clear coat. Originally quoted around $600 for custom paint, they went a little crazy: Steven Bilenky said the paint scheme is valued around $3,500.
The bike itself is a classic steel track bike using ~30 year old French Prugnat lugs with Columbus SL tubing. Check all the glorious details after the break, along with pics of their winning lugged frame and more…
Their city bike was very well equipped, featuring just about every amenity you’d want to get around town in style and with gear.
Do you think they could fit anything else in? Shift cables, brake hose, rocker dropouts and small rear light wiring loops all share space with brake, fender and rack mounts. Oh my!
This frame won for “Best Lugged Frame”. Every lug was hand cut, and there were a lot of details on them.
