2010 specialized body geometry s-works road bike cycling shoes with new boa s1 reel

UPDATED: Added a better picture of the 2010 women’s Specialized S-Works BG road shoes with the new BOA S1 system. Note the separate dials for top of foot and mid-foot lacing.

A number of Tour de France riders are wearing the new Boa S1 lacing system in this year’s race, which will be debuting on 2010 Specialized S-Works cycling shoes.

It features a redesigned ratchet system that claims to be the lowest profile system on the market, and the main difference is the dial mechanism. Rather than a full pull to release like older models, the new dial features a righty-tighty / lefty-loosey control that allows for micro adjustment in either direction.
