The Hive, which makes some very, very nice mountain bike cranks and hubs (check those out here and here) is debuting a line of road bits in October, starting with the REVL full carbon fiber road brake.  Not a ton of details being released yet, but we’ve got this:

Hit ‘more’ for some close up pics of the cam mech…
The cam mechanism looks awfully similar to the Feather brakes we reviewed…  While this cable bolt attachment looks like it’s easier to use than the Feathers, the Feathers are still lighter by about 17g per wheel.
Looks like there’s a nifty little release lever to open the brakes…hopefully we’ll catch these guys at Interbike to get more details.
