Castelli introduced its new Do.Di.Ci jacket — well, it’s a jersey, but no, it’s actually a jacket. The Do.Di.Ci falls somewhere between the two. Castelli uses its Ristretto technology in the new jacket to help evaporate sweat and regulate body temperature. In fact, the new Do.Di.Ci performs 12 times better than previous Castelli offerings.
Which is why they called it “Do.Di.Ci,” or “twelve” in Italian.
Ristretto Tech

If you thought “Ristretto” was coffee, you’re not wrong. The word translates to “restricted,” and refers to a very short espresso. In Casteilli’s case, Ristretto technology restricts and regulates airflow through a fabric, creating an essentialy fully windproof garment that still breathes.
To help with breathability, Castelli partnered with advanced fabric innovator, Itttai. Using Itttai’s trusted membrane and lamination process, a PFAS-free fabric was created that both stretches and breathes.

The Do.Di.Ci has an air permeability of three cubic feet per minute, the most in Castelli’s jacket category for 2025.
Castelli Do.Di.Ci. Jacket

“There’s never been a jacket like the Do.Di.Ci.,” Steve Smith, Global Brand Manager for Castelli, said. “We see it as the spiritual heir to the Gabba for the way many people use the Gabba.”
Castelli designed the Gabba with rain riding in mind. And, in that niche market, the Gabba performed very well, so much so that Castelli began noticing riders using it outside the jacket’s intended use. While the Gabba was exceptional in the rain, many riders still reached for it on cool, dry rides.

This is precisely where the Do.Di.Ci. comes in — a jacket designed to perform at the highest levels, but in dry and cold conditions.
“Quite simply, there’s no other jacket out there that works as well as the Do.Di.Ci. at keeping riders dry on the inside, and at the right temperature. When it’s not raining, it cannot be beaten,” Smith continued.
The release of the new Do.Di.Ci. Jacket comes on the heels of Castelli introducing the Perfetto RoS 3 in partnership with Polartec. These new pieces of cycling kit complement each other well. Reach for the Perfetto when it is raining, and for the Do.Di.Ci. when dry.
Castelli’s new Do.Di.Ci. Jacket is available in both men’s and women’s versions, with a short-sleeve offering also for men. The Ristretto material is incredibly stretchy, with a close-to-body fit without feeling overly tight.
