BIKERUMOR.com 2009 SEA OTTER CLASSIC COVERAGE: Besides the new shades, Giro had their new line of gloves on display.  They feature a full line of fingerless and full finger versions for road and mountain biking. Shown above from left to right are the Rivet, Remedy and Xen mountain bike gloves. 

The top of the line are the Lusso Pittards leather road gloves…very nice.  They have Technogel padding on the black palm, and the top is available in white (shown below, click to enlarge) or black.   They also have new women’s models, and many of them (road, mountain, mens and womens) have minimal or no padding for enhanced bar feel.  The .  Prices range from $25 to $65.

They’ve also expanded their line of LiveStrong helmets to include two road models, a mountain and a kids’ helmet.  Hit ‘more’ to see the range…

The Ionos remains the top of the line (though not their lightest helmet at 298g), shown at top, with a retail of $220. Below it is the Rift, a budget friendly MTB helmet at $60 to $70, and the kids’ helmet for $35.  The Saros, bottom right, is a solid $100 road bucket.  A portion of each sale goes to LiveStrong.
