After almost accepting that he’d be watching from the sidelines in 2010 and beginning to pursue his post-racing dreams, Oscar Pereiro has come to an agreement with Astana to race alongside Alberto Contador for the full year.
Pereiro will meet up with compatriot Contador tomorrow (Wednesday) at the team’s first training camp in Pisa, Italy.
Pereiro has raced for Caisse D’Epargne since 2006, the year he was awarded the Yellow Jersey for the Tour de France after Floyd Landis’ victory was overturned.
