Time to add another two hip packs to the list of upcoming options. So far this year we’ve seen new smaller pack options from Thule, Hydro Flask, and now Osprey is unveiling their upcoming models. If you find many of the current hip packs or lumbar packs to be a little big, this newer crop of smaller options may be just the ticket.
If you prefer a pack with an integrated reservoir, the Seral 4L includes a 1.5L lumbar reservoir and 2.5L of additional storage. A stronger magnet should offer better hose management with a new attachment point at the front of the belt.
The Savu 2L is designed with a single bottle carrying pouch and 2L of storage. Both packs include new bluesign approved recycled nylon fabric with PFC-free DWR coating, and airmesh wrap hip belts with Osprey’s ErgoPull cross-body waist strap closure system to keep things secure.
Both packs are part of Osprey’s Spring 2021 product range, and when available, they’ll sell for $75 for the Seral 4L and $50 for the Savu 2L.
