From one of our favorite currently (and surprisingly…or not) unemployed industry folks comes Hodala.net. The new brand spins off Sally’s cyclocross team name into a line of tee shirts and other schwag embodying the ‘cross lifestyle. The hard partying, beer handup one. Other goods include socks, a water bottle, stickers and such. Why support Sally (aka Brian)? Because he’s a good guy that helped bring us good bikes.

Can someone elaborate on Brian “Sally” Forne’s status? Bicycle Retailer & Industry News covered his transition from Raleigh to Kona, but they haven’t written anything about his leaving Kona. What’s the scoop?

Also, why didn’t Kona do a commemorative SSCXWC frame this year? I managed to pick up one of the last Raleigh frames from the 2015 event, and I love it.
