As one of the original names in power measurement, PowerTap has been refining their hub based power meters for over 15 years now. They are proud to point out that quite a few of their first wired PowerTap hubs are still in use along with their successors, but in order to offer even more peace of mind to the consumer they are extending their warranty.

Originally 1 year in many countries, all PowerTap hubs now carry an industry leading 2 year warranty in all countries. The warranty is good on any PowerTap G3 or Gs hubs.

From PowerTap:

Madison, WI – PowerTap will now be offering a two year warranty worldwide for all their power meters, including their new GS line. This new warranty doubles the length of their previous 1 year warranty in many countries, making it consistent worldwide and the longest in the industry.

“We’ve worked hard to offer the lightest, most accurate and easiest to use power meter available,” said Jesse Bartholomew, PowerTap Category Manager. “None of that matters if it doesn’t work every single day. To prove our commitment to quality we’re pleased to offer a two year warranty on any PowerTap branded hub.”

With 15 plus years in the market, PowerTap has always been an industry leader. Many of their very first, wired PowerTap hubs are still in use, in addition to all the models that have followed. Their dedicated team of engineers are continually developing, testing, and iterating to improve the product line, right down to the smallest detail. This meticulous approach to product development has allowed PowerTap to offer lighter and more durable products, backed by their touted industry-best customer service and now a 2 year warranty.

The 2-year warranty applies to any PowerTap branded G3 or GS hub. For more information on the PowerTap 2-year warranty and full terms and conditions please visit the warranty page on PowerTap.com. To speak to a real-live PowerTap expert please call 1-800-246-5975 or email support@powertap.com.
