Privateer Bikes has released a limited edition run of the Privateer 141 with Ohlins build kit. Priced at £4,499 ($5,348 USD) it is £810 more expensive than the GX build, boasting a burlier spec list with highlights including the Ohlins TTX22 Coil shock and RXF36 M.2. Air fork.
Other upgrades include the Hunt Enduro Wide V2 aluminum wheelset with a 33mm internal width rim in the front, and a 31mm internal width rim in the rear, with a Schwalbe Hans Dampf Super Gravity casing rear tire.
The Ohlins Edition 141 is available in sizes P2, P3 and P4, with the following coil springs only:
- P2- 411lbs
- P3 – 457lbs
- P4 – 502lbs
Privateer tell us they are unable to swap the spring weights of these bikes, and that alternatives must be sourced via Ohlins dealers.
