Prologo’s newest addition to the All-Road range, the Raion, is crafted from recycled material and will tick the boxes for lots of riders. Designed for riders who see cycling as both freedom and fitness, the Raion blends comfort, versatility, and sustainability into a clean, modern platform that looks ready for everything from the weekday commute to weekend gravel epics.

The Italian brand has been steadily building its “Ride Green” portfolio, and the Raion is the next step in that mission: a saddle made from recycled materials, built to the same performance and durability standards as Prologo’s race-level offerings.

Built for Every Terrain
The Raion is positioned as the do-it-all saddle in Prologo’s catalog — light enough for road, tough enough for gravel, and forgiving for light off-road. It measures 245mm long and comes in two widths — 135mm and 145mm — to accommodate different riding styles and anatomies.

At its core is Prologo’s Active Base System, a clever dual-layer design that pairs a central relief channel with a lightly padded cover. This setup evenly distributes pressure, reducing numbness without overflexing. The result is a comfortable, stable platform that encourages movement, whether you’re sprinting or cruising through backroad rollers.

The shorter overall length and compact “T-shape” profile keep riders locked in without feeling confined. A subtle nod to modern saddle geometry that emphasizes support and freedom of motion over pure minimalism.

Recycled, Not Compromised
Sustainability isn’t a side note here — it’s the Raion’s core identity. Prologo builds the saddle using a recycled nylon base, Re-Steel rails, and recycled materials in the foam and cover. Every component is designed to reduce environmental impact while maintaining the same stiffness, resilience, and ride feel Prologo is known for.
The brand calls it “sustainability without compromise,” and for once, that tagline holds up. Despite being the entry point in Prologo’s All-Road range, the Raion doesn’t look budget-focused.

Fit Options for Every Rider
Prologo offers the Raion in two fit options:
- Raion 135 (245 x 135mm) – A flatter shape and narrower width for riders who prefer more freedom of movement.
- Raion 145 (245 x 145mm) – A slightly wider base with extra padding for those prioritizing support and long-distance comfort.
Both models feature the Re-Steel 7mm rail system, keeping weight reasonable at 272g for the 135mm and 283g for the 145mm, while delivering excellent durability for mixed-surface use.

Completing the All-Road Family
The Raion joins Prologo’s expanding All-Road lineup. Others in the family include the Akero R and Akero R PAS models (255 x 150mm), plus the more comfort-oriented Akero R 160 and PAS 160.
Rounding out the range are the Feather II grips, made from recycled EVA foam — an ultra-light finishing touch for the mountain bike race crowd looking to trim grams responsibly.
